I Want to Change Everything.

Everything feels overwhelming and I want to change it. Not just a small change, I’m desperate to wipe the slate clean and fix my life.

In 2025…

I want to be the business owner with her life together, not a chronically tardy mom with yesterday’s coffee in the cup holder who also happens to run a small business.

I wish for the feeling of a clean, organized house every day instead of stepping in yellow paint left out by my toddler after a gleeful 2 minutes of arts-and-crafts.

I pray for the motivation to show up at the gym regularly in a cute outfit and complete a workout that’s both efficient and confident, gone will be the days of rushed lifts and skipped sets because my phone is at 6%.

I have to post consistently with a streamlined message, better images, and a signature product so I keep people interested. My current strategy of posting every several days because inspiration strikes and I have an extra 10 minutes before the groceries melt isn’t working.

Everything needs to change and I’m overwhelmed, but I’ve learned that lasting progress doesn’t happen all at once.

It starts one step at a time. One tiny baby step that leads to another. So here is a more realistic look at what I hope for 2025, as a behavior analyst, mom, and business owner:

In 2025…

I will probably run late sometimes, but I’ll clean my car out as I go and bring my coffee cups in every day.

When my toddler plays with his paints, we’ll practice cleaning up together.

I’ll continue to show up for workouts and work towards finishing a lift even when my phone dies.

My social media posts will continue to take a backseat for the time being, because my priority is always my real-world clients. This is a choice I am making, not something I’m falling into.

2025 will be different, but not because I’m changing everything all at once. I’m slowing down, focusing on what I can, and doing the next simple step that aligns with my values.
